It seems that OrCAD layout board files collect a history of all padstacks that have ever been
used in the design. If you delete a part that is the only footprint that uses a padstack then the padstack becomes "greyed" and it is stuck in the file forever. Is there a way to purge all old unwanted padstacks. The way that OrCAD wants to rename padstacks every time you replace a part with a new version, the padstacks are renamed. The padstack names keep getting longer and longer and the old ones still hang around. Can someone tell me if you can clean this up? Thanks
