I manage a small company based in western Australia. We have recently discovered a remarkable polymetallic deposit here in WA which contains a very large amount of sc oxide (2,500 to 5,000 mt) at very good grades (probably 200 to 300 gm/t). I also think that the production costs will be very low; initial work indicates that a mining operation will be profitable from revenue from other commodities produced (basemetal, gold, REE, U etc). Our best guess at present is that between 200 and 350 Mt of scandium oxide would be produced each year for up to 15 years. I would apreciate comments from people in the scandium industry as to the best way to market the large amount of scandium that we will produce? regards, mike fewster
