I did not mean two channels. If you cascade a lowpass and high pass, the result is a bandpass, which is what you want in a light organ. The number of channels will be governed by the selectivity of each bandpass and how complex you want to get.
If yu do a Google search for "light organ" there should be a lot of info available.
