Hi Jason,

I think that the transistors are switching types operating in the saturation region with low on resistance compared to the resistor values. This is likely true for all DACs.

If B[4:1] = 0110, then the third from the bottom word line and the second bit line would be active. Now the folded representation that you posted is a little messed up because the current flows from the left to right bit lines then the opposite way and so on. To use it as is, B3 and B4 would have to be inverted depending on the state of B1.

The linear representation is much clearer.
