hi, i am trying to design an IR link for small amounts of data transfer.

at one end is a computer, and at the other end where will be my device. there are only 3 wires, ground, transmit and recive. the computer end needs to be able to transmit and recive. and the device end needs to be low power transmittion and reciveing.

The distance of transmittion will be about 1 meter.

any help would be great
