I can see my schematic makes no sense, so let's try it this way:

This is a 720va tranny, 120vac 6A with 50 turns in the primary, 8vac 1A with 7 turns in the secondary.

The load is homebuilt, designed to limit the current in the secondary for testing tranny configs. It is an 8.5 ohm resistor load.

Under this load, I have 8vac 1A at 8.5 ohms. That's 8va, A far cry from 720va.

My question: What formula can I use, with this load, to translate the information from the load, to balance the circuit. I hope you understand.
