Hello,

1 .In simple CMOS Cs amplifier Av = gm Rd, al small signal voltage drop is across Rd and I was wondering that small signal voltage will dissipated as heat then how we can apmlify signal.
2. In CS with source degenrative resistor, when small signal voltagefeedback to gate of cascode FET , how it increases the O/P impedance. Circuit is like this:

2 nmos T , connected in series, first one is cascode and last one is I/P FET, which I am using as a source degenrative reisistor for calculation of Rout of this circuit.
