Oops! I was not going to run two radios at the same time. Sorry for the confusion. The panel runs either 6V and 12V seperately with a switch. Ideally, I would like to run the 9V radio at 200mA, but I suspect the 6V radio at 200mA would be within range of modification. I talked to a solar guy and he said it is possible to boost the current with a capacitor/diode bridge. If it is possible to run the 9V radio on the 12V panel, I would need to boost it from 70mA to 200mA (an additional 130mA). The 6V radio would require an additional 60mA to run. Either or or both would be great. Is the capacitor bridge a viable option and if I do boost the current to 200mA will the voltage also be modified and require some resistance? I can read schematics and build circuits, I just don't know the theory and math of electronics to design. Please discuss further your idea of reconfiguring the panels 70 mil/140 mil section.
