Case 1: Look up "H bridge". That is what you need.

Case 2: Use 6 volts to operate a relay to connect the motor to the 9.6 volt battery. If the polarity can reverse, use diodes to steer the voltage to the relay.

case 3: Your low frequency receiver has a selectivity problem.

case4: Put the relay in a diode bridge so it is energized with either polarity.
