I am going to design a switching power supply for charging a capacitor in stroboscope. the parameters are as follows
-inpute 12 V DC.
-output 600 V DC (may be ajustable 300 - 800).
-capacitor charging rate 25 J/sec.
-capacitor up to 5 uF.
note: as i understand the standard PWM schematic is not effective in this case. i.e. if I design simply stabilised power supply on 25 Watt, it doesn't provide me such charging rate.
Please help me to pick up a suitable decision. All your advices are welcomed.
