Subject: using UCN5804B chip to control stepper from parallel port problem

i am using a UCN5804B Chip to control a stepper motor from my PCs parallel port.
circuit diagram is here.

when i pules the pin connected to my enable chip line the motor starts to try and turn but turns very slowly and not freely, i have tryed difernt pules lengh slow and fast but still does the same trying to turn very slow. i have tryed swoping the motor leads around but still nuthink. the motor i am using is a mclennan 16HS-006

any help would be gratefull, if u want to know anythink just ask.
