I know that an air gap in an inductor prevents the core from saturating. But in a full bridge resonant topology it has a different function. What does it do? The air gap inductor is located in the output low-pass filter and is U-shaped. In my case I use 4,2kW of power and the air gap is supposed to be very big, around 5mm. Thanx in advance!
