I NEED TO KNOW HOW I CAN ELECTRONCLY CHANGE ROTATION OF A MOTOR 120 VOLT SINGLE PHASE, THE MOTOR HAS TWO RUN LEADS L1 AND L2 ,AND TWO LEADS FOR SWITCHING MOTOR ROTATION # 2 AND FOUR.
I have made a sliding gate opener but most things are done with micro switches and a screw rod , which changes the limit switchs , my relay is an old timer 24 VOLT RELAY INGAGING POINTS OF 120 VOLTS TO RUN MOTOR ,ALSO A TOGGLE SWITCH WHICH IS SPRING LOADED TO CHANGE ROTATION AFTER GATE IS SHUT OFF BY LIMIT SWITCHES. I have accumulated 11 pin 120 volt relay 3pdt, and 24 volt relay 3pdt for push button lope for opening gate. What can i use to change rotation after motor stops. Will a 2pdt latch relay work ? Lost what to do ! I Know that typical garage door openers change rotation but they use a came system , i believe ,Thank you for your help Dick Sheltrown
