To all op-amp enthusiests (i know i didn't spell that right!),I have designed a circuit to measure the voltage across a very small resistor, the reason being is that i'm using about 100V. To make the measurement and ensure i have the right level i am using a Difference Amplifier circuit. However, i need to make a significant reduction in voltage before entering the op-amp inputs, or should i say, the differential amp circuit inputs.
My question is: do i need to isolate the voltage divider circuit (100 to ~15V) from the diff amp or can i leave it as is. Or, can i somehow integrate the voltage divider into the diff amp topology?
I look forward to your help.
David.
