Hi. I'm looking for plans and a schematic for a simple and cheap digital (LED or LCD) clock. I want one crystal, not 555 RC based, cause I want it to be accurate.

The ones I've seen either involve about a dozen IC's or a microprocessor. I know it can be done much more simply and cheaply. I don't mind buying a special IC for this, assuming it's not to expensive.
