thanks. the radio only needs to transmit or recieve, not both, so i could install a switch into both systems meaning that only one can transmit to my 2 way radio by breaking the aerial loop, as im currently looking at building a specific transmit aerial (1/4 wave) or i use a 4 pole on 234/freq=length of rod, but to do that i need the frequency. thats easy, its on the packet so i can isolate transmit and recieve to A: prevent a nasty eternal loop in my aerial lead, and B: solve the problems of fryin one by puttin power thro it backwards.
