Hi Brian, I have designed this clock myself and it's for a class project. I'm using a 7493 chip which is a binary counter for seconds and minutes and a 74192 chip which is a presettable BCD counter. Unlike, commercial clocks my clock has about 25 chips in it. I was using a 555 timer to generate the clock signal of 60hz and dividing it by 60 to get a 1hz signal but now I'm using the timer to directly get a 1hz signal. So I just need a circuit using some gates like AND, OR, NAND or any other gate and two pushbutton switches to set the minutes and the hours. THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY AND THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP THAT YOU MIGHT PROVIDE.
