Sorry for being vague here....

Supposingly i am "beaming" a pure sine wave onto a biological cell, i need to find a way to detect the waveforms a particular cell would give out and study the characteristics.

My partner is working on the sine wave oscillator at 100Mhz range, i might need to detect a wider range.

I am new in this area of RF but i was wondering if theres a possibility of a freq range "sweep".

I am borrowing the idea of the metal detector for my project to study cell characteristics.

Probably this would be a clearer picture.
