Ok,I'm building an audio amp for my girlfriend and i'm using 2 of the STK086G (70 Watts Min) and one of my quetions is this: how to i make it run? I've downloaded the datasheet and designed a PCB around whats call the "application circuit" in the data sheet,Is this all i need to make it perform properly? (i was planning on puttin a 7 band EQ on the low level input to control aound quality.) Also: it says the MAX collector current is 7amps i understand that but what i don't know is thw size of transformer i will need,it says reccomended oporating volatage 42V -+ can it be run at 25V -+ with slightly more amprage (under 7 i know) and still sound as good/be as loud? Thanks for your time.
