Hi. MOV stands for Metal Oxide Varistor. (Check it out first!!!) It's a kind of 'shunt' protector device; ie it should be connected 'in parallel' with the device to be protected. I hope this can solve the problem. However, you should check what caused the inverter not working in the first place. Is it something with overloading or .... Good Luck !!!
