Hi,

I need some help in making a current sensing circuit. I want to switch an led on when a 12 volt globe blows. I am currently experimenting with the comparator, LM336N however am having trouble gettin the voltag inputs right. Am I on the right track here?? I have heard that the LM1946 was the best IC for current detection but is now unavialible, is there any substitue for this???

Any help would be appreciated in helping me overcome these difficulties.

Thanks Laet
