Routine maintenance involves checking switch operation at desired heights and correct sequence. Checking condition of motors and gearboxes. Visual inspection of all components. Operation of grab with dummy test weight. Torque limiter checks. Lubrication. Existing plant processors are 1980s technology, I want the test box to utilise modern methods. This is for a university project, I would like some basic ideas and perhaps suggestions for a suitable website where I may find help.
