What you ask is a complex question. As The distance the transmitted wave travels depends on a lot of factors. But the Electric Field can be calculated using this formula.

electric field(volts/meter)= The square root of
(30 times the transmitted power divided by the distance in meters).

If you know the field strength in this say uv/M
you can determine the power needed. Now this is in free space. Buildings, follage etc will affect the distance.
