Hi, it may be that you are not supplying enough current to the motor. The motor works due toa rotating magnetic field opposing a fixed one.Maybe the magnetic field being created is notenough for the motor to run.Please try a different biasing circuit fot thetransistor you are using. I am merely guessingthe cause of problem from the symptoms you aretelling. Best of luck,swan
