I think that the lack of an answer to your question by this time is in itself your answer; there is no simple way to get a printable version of the voice recordings.

Speech recognition by computers has long been an idea, but very little real success has been achieved.

I have a colleague who just got a new hand-held PC with some voice recognition software in it.

He "trained" it to respond to particular questions such as "What time is it?", but the device's reply isn't always the time of day; sometimes it says "Pardon me?".

Such anthropomorphic stuff!!
