(I hope this isn't a dumb question. I'm thinking perhaps the answer is so simple that I'm missing it...)
I have an OP AMP (AD712) and the specs call for a guard ring around each set of input pins on the two gates. Fine, I understand that part. But the engineer now wants to pour a ground plane on the top & bottom of the board. How does this impact those guard rings? Do I not need them or do I need to clear the copper away from those input pins?
Thanks for your help!
