I have been looking at a number of these refs, as you suggested. Not certain I need this somewhat more complex design; perhaps you can fill in the gaps in my understanding! I have a baseband signal, no AM Supressed Carrier to start from, and have no need for the demodulated digital data, only a frequency-locked recovered clock. Can't that be accomplished with a PLL with a narrow band loop filter, as Russ suggested?
