I have a TY-145P audio transformer that I want to connect to the phone line(tip and ring). My problem is the transformer has a secondary(600ohm)center-tap and primary(600ohms)center-tap. Therefore there are 6pins all together. I am not sure how to connect the line(tip and ring) from the phone to the transformer. Should I leave the two center-taps(primary and secondary) unconnected whiles I use the other pins? If any one can help me with a design circuit using this type of transformer, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
