Greetings,

For a senior design project at my university, I am supposed to design a guitar/violin tuner just for the strings out of analog circuit components like oscillators, frequency counters, opamps, etc.

Do you have any help into how to design this thing? I don't want to reinvent the wheel. Did somebody do this already?
