You don't say what frequency range this comb is to be in. If you make a very narrow pulse, it will have many harmonics which constituts the comb frequencies. Let us say you generate a 1kHz pulse with 1usec width, then there will be harmonics at 2kHz, 3kHz, 4kHz, 5kHz, etc. If you generate a 100 mHz pulse with 1nsec width, the harmonics will be 200mHz, 300mHz, etc.
