I need a circuit that will boost a DC input, variable from 5 to 12VDC, up to 40VDC @ 1A. I would prefer to use the Texas Instruments chip TL5001A PWM controller if possible. I also need it to be as efficient as possible, in the 90% range. I'm currently looking for the best schottkly and lowest resistance FET possible to aid in efficiency. Does anyone have a circuit to accomplish this? Thanks in advance!
