I assume you mean isolated circuit. The 4n40 IC is an opto coupled SCR with 400 volts, 300mA rating. It turns off when the current falls below 1mA. If you need higher power, use a transistor output opto coupler like the H11D1 which has 300 volts rating. There is a series of 4N devices at lower voltage ratings.
