I just made a clock that is highly accurate and has only three parts. A processor microchip 16f84 and a Microchip 4and a half digit controller with a Viatronix LCD display. Email me at Mrgone@angelfire.com and I will share it with you. The software I wrote also has very slight software clock speed adjustments in case the board you use has different stray capacitance.
