Thank you all for your follow ups, especially John and Tom. The example you both brought forth really helps a lot. It is actually the physics of electricity that interests me a great deal. I will continue on with some study in this area. To bring you up to speed, I have played with a lot of electronic gadgets in the past, and although I am fimiliar with terms like voltage and current and of course Ohm's law, I never quite grasped what the hell is exactly happening in that wire, that is carrying a current. I will make sure to post again with future questions. Regards.
