Well, I may have slipped on a banana peel for a moment, but still, be careful because there are analog switches that do require two positive rail voltage connections. Even if the DG40x series might not, the DG412 as an example, does!

You would use this device with 15V let's say for the analog voltage swing and also with +5V for the logic levels.
