That sounds like a heckuva welder!

Constant voltage power is used pretty much just for MIG welding--but that's what I want this machine for. It's actually not quite constant; maybe the voltage falls a volt for each 50 amps.

One reason I was thinking about an inverter is that they are so much lighter and take up a lot less room.
