Cheers David

The trouble is that the connector connects to Lemo type plug, also metal, (no plastic suitable alternatives). As the user plugs this in, he must have access. I have tried bridging a capacitor from connector to ground and this seems to work, however I'm unsure as to what I may be doing to the circuit in the long run. The battery is covered so not a problem. If capacitor is OK, would its value coincide with reactance Xc=0 at the frequency of circuit resonance (22kHz)? I have little info on this and so I am making guesses.
Many thanks
Darren
