I need a circuit that accepts a TTL pulse and generates
-200V pulse of the same width (min. 5nsec) for a gated
image intensifier. The output should be +30V during 'off'
time, so the output pulse height should be -230V.
I have -200V supply, so my idea is to use a high-voltage
high-speed MOSFET and a +30V supply, probably with
protection diodes for the input TTL and the +30V supply.
I considered optoisolators too, but couldn't find a fast
Now my beginner's questions are:
(1) Am I on the right track? :-)
(2) Where can I find MOSFETs for 200V and 5nsec?
(3) I'm afraid that the circuit might generate huge noises.
How can I get rid of the noise problem?
