Subject: Question about CDMA (IS-95)

Hello!

Im trying to understand how an IS-95 base station works, and Ive found it hard to get to know where the different logical channels (each one spread with its Walsh code) are added to the same carrier. I wonder if its done before QPSK modulation, or else, they are modulated separately before being amplified alltogether. Maybe each logical channel must have its own circuitry up to the antenna connectors (what a waste!).

Thanks in advance for any help.
