Hi,
1.My first question is that Can I have more than one Receivers being driven by single QAM transmitter. Actually I tried this and it works. Now i can put two receivers for a single transmitter( it is Qudrature modulated signal). The only problem is that when I try to go on higher QAM schemes( constellations) there are problems in acquiring the LOCK. It is not stable. My idea is that using a line driver on the receiver side will help. What u think . CAn somebody give me some suggestion.OR I have to play with my AGC loop at the receiver. an HoW?
2. I am trying to simulate the affect of lenght of strip lines on PCB.
I adopted follwing method. I took a ribbon line cable (8 pins/line) and checked the loss an dattenuation of test signal at the operating frequency range. Also i checked the through put by transferring the data.
Is there any other way that I can simulate the effects like cross talk, parasitic capacitance and inteference etc.
Thanks for ur input.
Abbas
