Hi
Thx John regarding answer my question on deviation. yes you are right in interpretation of my question. thx again.
..............
1. Often it is specified with electronic components like filters, mixers, tuners etc that bandwidth is 60 MHz at -5 dB for example.
Sometimes it is specified regarding the characteristics of filters like: -2 db at 6 MHz and -30 db at 12 MHz.
What does this mean. What is the exact interpretation of this specification?
2. Can any body tell me about what the difference between symmetrical and asymmetrical RF inputs. I came across this term on a data sheet of tuner IC. this is in the context of satellite TV input...( which is a modulated signal). If u have thing to say on this topic, plz write it.
thx
Abbas
