using astable multivibrator principal i have constructed 400 khz sine wave oscillator. for this i have used resonance tank circuit containing 60 micro henries inductor and 330 pf capacitor in parallel. this resonating tank circuit is placed in collector of astable multivibrator. the qualiry of sine wave is not good, either it becomes triangular or deformed sine wave. can somebody tell me why this deformation is there, and tell how to get perfect sine wave. i have taken output through secondary of inductor.
