I need to find a replacement for the victoreen gas regulator tubes.
Victoreen has quit making them.
The applications are for 750 VDC to 1800 VDC power supplies
used in gamma ray detectors in oil well logging tools.
I ahve toyed with idea of a Zener stack and a gas surge tube
as a replacement. I am hesitant as the operating temperatures will
run up to 175 C.

any sugesstions?
