Thanks for the follow up Ned. Unfortunately, these are not standard relays. These were built to work in Otis Elevator controllers and some are nearly a foot long.

As for the copper ring, I did read that AC relays have some non-ferrous material around the core to maintain the magnetic field during zero crossing. I will look for the ring.
