Hi there,

I have planned to build a project which will use normal 100m cordless
telephone to surf the internet. Thing is that, I will connect my normal
telephone line to base station of cordless phone.

And the cordless handset will need some modification. I have planned to use
a normal modem to be hooked up with the handset. Generally modem telephone
line needs to be connected to real telephone line (48v) and if I intend to
conect the same modem to cordless handset, some interface circuit have to be
designed which will take up the cordless handset input at one end and
connect modem at another end simulating the real telephone line condition,
so that modem can dial up the cordless base station and connect to the net
like normal.

Can anybody help me designing the circuit or any idea?
