Greetings.

In a Motorola Application Note AN920 (rev 2) there are a number of circuits which cover theory and design for what you require. It would seem that using one MC34073, an inductor, and a handful of other components you could come up with a viable product.

The publication has many pages (36) so it is a bit unwieldy to scan and E-Mail but if you contact Motorola's Website you may be able to download the data direct from their Application Library.

I hope that you are successful. If not, feel free to let me know and I will work something else out.

Regards,

Brian Snell (bsnell@lara.on.ca)
