Hi, Holger. Putting multiple devices in series for high voltage switching is one tricky business indeed! The upper switch(es) would have to have their drive signals floating on a switched common-mode high voltage signal and yet not be corrupted by that. Also, all of the turn-off dV/dT's would have to be balanced by snubber networks to keep from transiently exceeding the voltage standoff capability of one or another of the stacked devices. Given these difficulties, I would strongly suggest that you get in touch with vendors of the proposed devices, such as International Rectifier let's say, and see what they would advise! Good luck.
