I find myself somewhat alarmed by your question. In switching a load from an AC mains, the most important consideration has to be safety and that's precisely what the MOC optocouplers are designed to facilitate, which is why I have personally favored them since their introduction.

I strongly urge you to either remain with a MOC based design or find a similar, competitive equivalent product from another vendor.
