Like the idea of passive tags but not sure it will work.

I need this:
1. Simple RF transmitter.
2. Long battery life (2yrs) triple A or less.
3. Contact is less than 60 sec per month.
4. Multiple inputs, separate frequencies.
5. Simulates dry contact.
Picture this:
A bank of micro switches none more than 10 feet apart.
You engage micro switch 1 and a signal is sent to the receiver. Switch 2 and other switches do the same. . The idea is to replace the microswitches with a RF device that will accomplish the same end (simulate dry contact) using different frequencies instead of the microswitches although a micro switch may still be needed to activate the RF device. (the idea is to eliminate the wiring)
