hi John,

let me clarify a few points.

1. the d/a converter operates at 1V
2. i want to provide the 1v supply to the dac from a 1v reference voltage, ie

power supply (any convenient voltage)
is fed to the input of 1V voltage reference chip;

output of the 1V voltage reference chip
is fed to the VDD of the dac.

the reason i want to do that instead of just using a simple dc supply is to ensure the vdd of the dac is stable and will not adversely affect the performance of the dac.
